Error message - because of a technical issue your download cannot be completed.

Had this error message for few days now. Also cant record or catch up.

Please help

If you’re seeing “Because of a technical issue, your download couldn't be completed, please try again later”, try downloading a different programme from the same provider. If another programme works, there might just be a temporary problem with the show you're trying to download.

If you’re having the same problem on more than one programme, try the following:

Reset the settings

  1. Press the Home button on your Sky Q remote, highlight Settings then press 0,0,1 and Select.
  2. Select Reset, then Reset settings and select Confirm.
  3. Wait for the on-screen instructions to disappear then press the standby button on the front of your Sky Q box, instead of the Home button on your Sky Q remote.
Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
