Ok, but you're just telling other customers here...
If you've moved from Sky+ to Q then you cannot move back. You may not be able to cancel Q depending on what contract you've agreed.

Unfortunately the SKY Q interface is very different to the SKY HD one & can take a bit of getting used to.
I don't suppose you have any friends or relatives who have had SKY Q longer and could help you get used it / answer any queries ?
There are some useful help videos if you go to the main page and secroll down to Help & then tab right & select
'Select to view all our help articles and videos'
As @PandJ2020, unfortunately you cannot go back to SKY HD which was probalby much more suitable for both you & your child.
If you can give more info on what happens when, you say it cuts out, someone here may be able to assist

What have you moved to? Sky Stream? You can move back to Q from that.
