Do sky just make up their prices?

I have been with sky for 18 years and my contract is about to expire. They have put my price up by 40%.

 When I called I was given a revised price of £103 per month which is still to expensive. Then I was put through to cancellations some 3 minutes later and to keep me they gave me a new price of £110 per month.

 Do they just make it up??????

Hi @Oscarroo72   Their job is to extract as much money from you as possible. Good discounts appear to be a thing of the past. The list prices are fixed.
