You don't have anything else with a Disney+ app?

We have it on a phone, but that is no good if the kids want to watch Disney, and streaming to our TV is hit and miss.

TV itself? (Oh ... why's that hit & miss? Need to just get a wifi mesh to improve the home networking?)

Their is an issue where the connection drops out between the phone and the TV.

It is just frustrating that I can no longer use the app via the sky box. There is clearly an issue that sky hasn't resolved.

You can use the phone to work around the issue.  It's not a great solution, but it works (for us).

If we get the issue where the Sky Q Disney+ app get's stuck on a black screen (after a trailer) before the episode starts...

Press (home) to go back to the Sky Q home screen.

Open Disney+ app on phone.

Start watching said episode.  Skip trailer (if need be).  Let the episode play for a few seconds.

Press back to stop playing the episode.

Open Disney+ app on Sky Q.

"Continue Watching" episode.  Now plays fine.
