Noisy box and no signal

I have a main sky q box with 4 mini boxes. My main box has to be reset up to 3 times a day as it's noisy and loses signal to all mini boxes. I have had 2 new main boxes as suggested by sky incase it was faulty. It is still doing this. It's not covered, it's in a well ventilated area. What else could be the problem?

You've had 3 main boxes and they all have noisy fans?

Yes all have been noisy. So it's clearly not a problem with the main box. 
Could it be one of the mini boxes throwing everything out?
