I have just seen that Disney+ is now free for Sky Q accounts. I already have an annual plan without ads for Disney+ (directly with Disney). Will I be able to add additional users to the Disney+ account with Sky once I switch?

John

@lenworth1954 no sky does not support extra members

if they are a necessity do not switch to sky

also beware only standard with ads is free with sky

Sky Q. N disney addon.

sky Q. Can't use the Disney plus add on because contract ends in three weeks. We have to wait until new contract starts.

Any one else have this problem?

Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

I moved from Disney to sky and was directly with Disney and with no ads. It looks like the free Disney with sky is with ads? If you don't want ads it's £4? Or premium for £9? Is that right?

hi @Frayie

That is correct - the switch to paying via SKY from Disney automatically transfers you at the same 'tier' hence the £4 cost which, of course, is cheaper than paying direct to Disney.

If you do want to switch to premium it is indeed £9 (rather than £4 for Standard No Ads)

Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

I added Disney to my Sky Q box yesterday, but the email confirming it went to my daughter, who doesn't live here.

Last year she stayed with us and we added her Disney account, so my box appears to have automatically linked her account.

I tried an app refresh yesterday in the Settings 0 0 1 menu and I still can't link a new account.

Tried speaking with the bot, but getting nowhere!

You might have made the same mistake as I did after entering the password do not press the continue button but the keyboard button instead.  Scroll down and agree to the terms and conditions then carry on.  Hopefully it will work.

Re: Disney + Billing

So if I start the subscription for the extra £4 on the 1st of April say, will the payment then be taken on the 1st of every month going forward?

All my bills go out on the 1st of every month, and I'd rather keep it that way

Thanks

I'm not sure this is correct. I think Sky automatically starts you on the Standard with ads option and you have to upgrade via Marketplace.and pay for the upgrade by card. That is what has happened with me anyway. Had Premium account through Disney and when i changed over to Sky it automatically put me to the Standard with ads setting.

Hi @MattStyles   I used to pay Disney+ direct on an annual subscription for Standard without Ads. I used the MySky App to activate the transfer of billing to Sky and it quite rightly put me on the same plan. So I am now paying £4 a month without having to do anything.

Re: Disney+ is Now Included in Most TV Packages!

I'm unable to access Disney plus even though I have the relevant sky package. It comes up on my screen that I have it but nothing happens when I click on. Have tried online but it says there is an error

Re: Disney+

I have this error that I can get Disney+ soon (I posted here before). I am on Sky Q ultimate. I checked in my sky, and it shows that Disney plus has been cancelled on 13th March (I never had Disney+). I have cancelled my Sky subscription on the 12th March, but thought Disney+ should still work until my contract expires, which is 12th April 2026.

Is that not the case ? There was a option to resubscribe to Disney+, but I dont want to be charged

Re: Trying to active to Disney +

I had the same problem when you enter your new password do not press continue as you need to agree to terms and conditions further down the page.  You need to select the keyboard button icon in order to continue down the page.  After two failed attempts it worked for me.  Good luck.
