Re: Disney+ black screen
Hi Daniel
Is there an update on this please given a number of people have reported (the fix) that this isn't working? I have tried the suggestion on the app to move from 'automatic to saved' and that now appears to have worked. However, this has lowered the picture quality, on this basis, can you please advise upon the next steps to take to ensure the service is at the desired level.

Re: Disney+ black screen
This "fix" did not work for me. I waited over 24 hours. But I'm also not convinced the app refresh is working. The apps did not temporarily disappear from screen and come back.
I have tried the app refresh again, however again, none of the apps temporarily disappeared.

Re: Disney+ black screen
And I've tried all the previously mentioned things to try to fix it. Only one that works is changing my UHD TV to 1080p. Which is not what I'm paying a UHD Sky Subscription for. It was all working so well until few days ago .

Re: Disney+ black screen
Hi @Kellymm1 @RandallCat @richardburns @MG38 @RedLeader @Nick+Reffell @carolyn8 @Lori4 @Snowydigman
I was wondering what Sky Q model(s) you have that has this issue. In this thread, I noticed that @Trace+Em's model is Falcon V2. Perhaps it would be helpful, if you don't mind sharing your Q box model. Just to add more information to this thread and see what models are affected. I have a Q Titan.
Here is a list of models I scraped up:
X-Wing
Titan
Amidala
MR
Falcon V2
Falcon D1
SoIP X1
SoIP X3

Re: Disney+ black screen
Did all resets, updated the software on the box, refresh apps , nothing worked.
Changed my settings from UHD to HD and now works, not happy about it though as should work in UHD mode.

Re: Disney+ black screen
I'm having the same issues, tried all the suggestions, none of which have worked. Spoke to Sky who have advised they are monitoring this thread and apparently are trying to fix the problem. They have refunded me a month's subscription which I implore anyone who is experiencing this to do the same, maybe if enough people do this they may pull their finger out. It's ridiculous that this was raised a week ago and yet the problem is persisting!

Re: Disney+ black screen
I jave just tried watching Deadpool Wolverine movie, I thought that the sky box update and app update had worked but during the movie it cut out to a black screen on me twice, had to exit and then carry on watching!!! Has anyone else had this problem?

Re: Disney+ black screen
@Kiero84 @Thanks, I will be phoning Sky tomorrow. Ridiculous that this has been ongoing for over a week with no fix. I've done multiple app resets, software resets etc with no change. The only thing that "works" is reducing my Sky visual settings to 1080. But this is not an acceptable solution when I pay both Sky and Disney for UHD subscription content.

Re: Disney+ black screen
Still seeing the issue. No amount of resettining is fixing the issue. Even tried multiple box unplugs and replug!

Re: Disney+ black screen
It's ridiculous when you're paying subscription I can see it on my TV itself and it's working fine but through sky it's rubbish. It's just a blank screen telling me what I'm watching with no picture. They need to sort this out
as far as I'm concerned, it's Sky that's got the problem not Disney because I can see it on my property TV without using Sky
