I'm having this exact same issue, tried the 001 reset but that's not working for me although is because my remote isn't paired?

This is happening to me and I've tried switching off the box etc, resetting the apps and still it's doing it. Please can SKY get in touch or atleast post an update on why this is happening. 3x days the app has been messing about as we have had to exit out of it because the program we were watching just suddenly went to a black screen and when we went back to it the app hadn't 'noticed' we had watched that episode or part it.

I've noticed pixelation is getting better but watching Disney app via sky box and it keeps cutting off, screen goes black and I need to restart sky box - just constant issues now

We're having to w same problem. Tried a box reset, app refresh, no luck.
only happening on the main W box, Disney+ still working on all the minis.
does anyone have any other suggestions other than waiting for a fix/update that may or may not come?

The only thing that worked for me was the hidden menu. Scroll to settings (don't press it) press 0 0 1 SELECT and this will bring up the menu. Select the reset option and it's the top of 3 options. This wipes all the apps and installs again after about 10mins. Mines worked okay then.

Yeah I tried that, still no luck.
This only started happening in the last week, I'll have to hope it resolves with an update in the future to either the box or the app.

Seems to be an issue with the SkyQ main box. Hopefully some type of update will fix.

Yep, getting the same black screens too in Disney.. only on the SKy box, and mine's new, only installed it last week.

Yes I'm only getting the issue with the main sky box not the minis so frustrating.

So I have just spoken to sky tech team, they have checked and told me that there is a compatibility issue with the sky q box and they are sending out another box, it works fine on my sky mini box so will let you know how I get on when I receive the new box 🤞
