Disgusting picture quality on SkySports+

Definitely the broadcast quality as the on screen graphics are sharp. It's as if the camera lenses are smeared with Vaseline. Like watching a 1970s re-run. I'm not going to continue to pay for this dross.

The on screen graphics aren't moving so survive compression much better than fast moving live action

I have noticed that some sports via Sky Sports+ look like they have been filmed on a potato, but often this seems to be where Sky are picking up an existing feed from a third party rather than it being their own production.

Often see this with EFL for example in the lowest leagues where it is a single point camera. Originally no one would have watched this on a big screen, so the infrastructure isn't there, but if you are going to show all the games, you take what the EFL give you.
