@MightyQuinn wrote:Hi @Bouncerdave65 Forget what it says on the bill (that is a legacy system, no longer fit for purpose). You should have been quoted £24 for Sports Complete. Sky Sports Complete is in HD only.
Fair comment @MightyQuinn I was quoted £20.00 and I'm paying £20.00 it doesn't matter if the legacy system is still showing on my bill the point is two separate subscriptions amount to the correct price I'm paying now regardless if the subscription is included as standard.

Fair comment @Bouncerdave65 but you have a Sky VIP Reward attached to your Sky Sports Complete subscription that may explain why it's £22.00 and Sky Sports HD is not included in the £22.00

As I said in a previous post , I phoned sky yesterday and was told it run along side my sky sports package and can't be removed.
which I replied my contract is for £22 pm and I shouldn't pay any more than that .
I got no answer to that question.
As far as I'm aware a contract is binding , my contract clearly states it's £22 pm I'm paying an extra £2 pm for hd ,.can anyone tell me if I'm missing something before I go down the legality route with sky . Thanks

What has vip got to do with it , sky is only broadcast in hd , why pay for something that's already there

Well it clearly states a Sky VIP Reward for Sky Sports Complete Pack and you are paying £22.00 as per contract.

Sports always has 'Sports HD' as separate line item. However, the total price agreed* should include HD. So if you agreed £24 (in total) then the discounted sum of sports and HD should be £24.
* remember that only discounts are fixed - the list price can (and does) change - so in the above example you don't agree £24 (you agree relevant discounts to get to £24 at that point in time)

I didn't agree to £24 I agreed to £22

Sorry, that was just an example. (Poor choice of example)
If you agreed £22 (and the list price hasn't changed) then that £22 should include Sports and HD.

Thanks for you help , I'm just confused with it .
the price per the agreement is £22 , it doesn't mention hd anywhere. Apart from the bill .
I will go back to them and see what they say
thanks again

Billing and subs does seem overly complicated. I don't know why they insist on a separate sports HD sub as it's mandatory with Sports. Legacy configuration I guess.

Your right there , it needs simplifying but I guess if it makes them money they ain't going to bother
