The most frustrating thing is that I like been with sky and have been for over 25 years , although we're only talking a small amount of money , it really does question if loyalty really means anything anymore, . At the end they might gain £36 over the life of the contract but it could cost them £1300 a year if I walk away at the end of it .

Sorry, that was just an example. (Poor choice of example)
If you agreed £22 (and the list price hasn't changed) then that £22 should include Sports and HD.
Fair comment @PandJ2020 like I've pointed out maybe the Sky VIP Reward discount
does't allow other discounts to be taken at the same time with regards to Sky Sports as he's already agreed to the discount/offer
Obviously it makes a difference or the Sky Sports would be £20.00 and Sports HD £2.00 but that's not the case.

Hi
I don't see the relevance of a vip discount, a discount is a discount, it doesn't say vip discount on my agreement. It's only on my bill . Sky sports hd isn't chargeable as iit comes as standard, if I could remove it and go to standard definition then I would agree with the charge .

So what are your future bill amounts as your Sky TV subscription two Discount periods £5.00 for 6 months and 14 days and £5.00 for 18 months so the VIP Reward is of some relevance then.

No , both £5 discouns are for 18 months

The discounts your referring to are for the tv package not sports

Just to clear something up. , at no point have I complained about my sky bill , my issue is the sky sports hd

Yes that's correct and your future bills are showing the same amount for Sky Sports Complete £22.00 and Sky Sports HD £2.00
We keep going round and round in circles you really need to take it up with Sky
Also why didn't you question the Sky Sport HD amount in July 2023 as you would have received an email showing your new monthly subscription what's been added to reflect the changes to your monthly subscription amount.

That's quite simple I didn't notice it until I checked when my broadband was up for renewal. , I did take it up with sky as I said previously, I will get back in touch on Monday,
the purpose of the post was to see if anyone else have had the same problem, and how did they resolve it .
it appears nobody has , so now I know

Fair comment @Bouncerdave65 I did have a similar problem when I was quoted a price and agreed to it
But checking My Sky app didn't reflect the new price agreed I rung the following day and the issue was rectified promptly.

@Bouncerdave65 just for reference It shouldn't affect you but looking at Sky sports for a new customer it's currently showing as £34 as the standard price reduced to £20.
If you took your current subscriptions over the phone Sky should have a recording of the conversation as well as the proof you have from the e-mail they sent you i dont think they have a leg to stand on

Hi
thank you for that , funny you should mention recorded phone calls , they offered me a broadband deal on the phone on Thursday and said they would call me back on Friday as the offer didn't go live till then , they didn't phone on Friday so I phoned them and they denied any knowledge of the offer , so I asked them to check the conversation and a manager is getting back to me this week , it will be interesting to see what they say

Hi just a quick update on sky sports HD .
I phoned sky and told them my agreement was for £22 pm and not £24 with hd , I was told that sky sports now cost £34 pm and with your discount of £10 pm leaves £24 pm and is included in your sports pack ,
I explained that my agreement said £22 pm and had no mention of hd and that I wasn't informed of any price rise so I should be paying as pre agreement £22 at this point they put the phone down .
it's a joke

@Bouncerdave65 I think your only option now is to make a complaint see link below and ask them to listen to the phone calls
