I have damaged an external Sky cable

If you want Sky to carry out a repair you'll have to call them. The charge would be around £65.

If you've only "snipped" the outer covering of the dish to Sky Q box cable, and there is no loss of signal on any of your channels, you could get away with just wrapping insulation tape around it to keep moisture out
