Connectivity

my TV is saying that it has got aerial connections therefore it cannot connect. Can anybody help me please?

That could be a message from the TV as Sky Q doesn't use aerial connections.

Sorry I should've said that my TV is saying that it hasn't got aerial connections so therefore it is unable to connect. Can anybody help me please?

This isn't anything to do with Sky or Sky Q, that is a TV message, have you tried using the TV remote and cycling through the inputs?   Also suggest reading the TV's user manual to familiarise yourself with what to do in such cases.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

If your TV is reporting no 'aerial connections' then its in tuner mode for receiving a Freeview signal from an external aerial.

 

You need to change the TV to the HDMI port the Sky box is plugged into.

 

Alternatively, hitting the home (or Sky) button will send a signal to your TV that should switch it automatically.  (As long as CEC is enabled on both the TV and Sky Box)
