Connectivity and unreliable operation of Sky TV programmes
I have a skyQ box along with 2 mini Q boxes. Over the past 6 weeks I have been experiencing connectivity problems with the mini boxes where individually they will just stop operating on both live and recorded programmes. Occasionally they rectify the issue themselves but more often than not I have to swith the boxes off at the wall and then switch back on but this only works about 50% of the time; I then switch off the main Q box which sometimes helps but often it is just time that cures the issue.
I also have issues with the main Q box where 80% of the time it does not record programmes saying: "there was a power failure" or "a technical fault, please try later". When we do get programmes recorded, they may not actually run at all or for the full length. When we have watched a recorded programme or want to delete ones which did not record - the box wont let me!
Has anyone else experienced these problems and had them resolved? Does anyone have advice? I think that this is likely to be a QBox fault and if so can anyone advise me how to get help from Sky?
Thanks
