Cannot change freeview channels using my sky q remote

With my old SKY remote if I wanted to control my freeview channels I would press the TV button and then i could change freeview channels. With my SKY Q remote all I can do is control the volume and the input source, I have to use my tv's original remote to change freeview channels. Does anybody know if there is a way to change freeview channels using my sky q remote or am I stuck using 2 remotes. Seems like SKY have taken a step backwards

Don't think so.

I haven't had a TV aerial for about 15 years though.

Why not watch those channels via Q?

There are some channels that are only available on freeview. And the original sky remotes could control both the TV and sky. With the sky q remote it is not possible to search through freeview channels

@SkunkZ unfortunately the Sky Q remote will not be able to do what the Sky + remote was able to do so afraid you will need to use the TV remote to control the freeview channels on your TV

All the Q remote will control as you say is sound  and on most TV's input source
