Hi @MFC   How do you know? Is it a case that your box no longer turns on?

i see message "software update required" AFTER having "successfully" updated.

It advises it will complete update after putting into standby (which I understand is switching off).

Hi @MFC   That sounds like a message from your TV (not the Sky Q box). Use your TV remote. I would upload an image of the message if you are not sure.

IT never updates after turning off

Hi @MFC   You are already on the latest software. All you are doing is rebooting the box. There should never be a need to update the software, because it updates automatically. People have been complaining about that misleading text for over 10 years.

There is no longer an error message on my MY SKY now

So it must have updated !

The Q370 software update was / is still being rolled out. It's done in batches and usually on a Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Mine had automatically updated this morning.
