CNN Channel 506 is not working, we have no issues with weather - all other channels ok.
Do you know why this is?
Thanks

Hi @JohnDeely
Have you tried rebooting your Q box?
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)
note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.
Failing this are you seeing anything when you select the channel?

Thanks so much for your response! Yes, I have rebooted the box a number of times.
CNN goes fuzzy and then I get a message that there is issues with the satellite , Its odd that its just CNN so I was wondering if anyone else has the same issues.

Find out moreIf a message displays “no satellite signal” firstly check that the connections from the Sky dish going into the back of your Sky Q box are still finger tight. Otherwise it’s likely to be a dish alignment issue so check the troubleshooting in this link
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-tv-no-satellite-signal-sky-q
It may then give you the opportunity to arrange an engineer to check the alignment of your dish. If it doesn’t you’ll need to contact Sky to book an engineer appointment.
If you are connected to a communal dish you need to liaise with your building management company / landlord who will have their approved engineers to contact.
Remember, a misalignment is not necessarily something that will be visible to the naked eye and could only affect one or two channels.

When you have problems with CNN, check Bloomberg (502) and GB News (512). They are broadcast on the same frequency. If they are also affected that would confirm a dish alignment issue.

Thanks everyone, that did not work so I booked an engineer to come out and check it
