Finally sorted! Had to speak to connectivity team.
He got me to hold and press the reset button in the back of the router for 10 seconds then turn the router off at the mains.
I was asked to press 001 select, go to reset settings, confirm I wanted to reset the Sky Q box and turn it off from the mains.
I then had to plug the router and Sky box back in, wait for the lights on the router to turn green. I had to press home, highlight settings, press 001 then select and go down to network. I was asked to turn off the 2.4Ghz wireless and turn on the 5Ghz wireless setting it to 80Mhz/ch. 36 and finally reconnect to the Sky broadband with the WPS button.
Long winded but solved it.

He said I might've been getting interference with other devices on the 2.4Ghz.
It is strange though as it has been working fine up until the point it decided to disconnect.

Stopped working again. Was fine for 10 days.
reset everything and it's not working
sky you are utterly **bleep**. I've always been against people who scam everything through the internet but I'm beginning to see their point

I ended up getting an engineer out. He came the same day cost nothing. Sorted everything. Big tip, check your storage for recordings - mine was nearly full and he said that can really mess things up

Which frankly is a shambolic excuse but glad yours is working now.

Got it working in the end, after unplugging it all and starting again.. oh well. If you can do it with a nuclear sub, no reason can't with normal technology 🤣
Always delete what we have watched, only for the fact of limited storage, but that shouldn't effect the connection to wifi.

Sorry, not sure which post you were replying to. Could you add what worked? It might help others who read this in the future.

I found that holding down the WPS button (and not releasing) for over 1 minute worked for me (after I had reset router and sky q box per previous instructions)
