Bluetooth and sky Q

Is there any way I can listen to my sky q thru Bluetooth headphones as my husband finds I have it too loud.

Hi @MrsB23   As far as I know the Sky Q boxes do not have a Bluetooth transmitter apart from finding the remote. You need to connect your Bluetooth headphones to your TV or Audio system. You could experiment with an Optical to Bluetooth transmitter connected to the Sky Q optical output.

Re: Bluetooth and sky Q

Hi Mrs B23

Ignore connecting the earphones to the skyQ Box, connect them direct to the TV via bluetooth.

Hope this helps

Re: Bluetooth and sky Q

Press Home on your Sky Q remote, select Settings, then Setup.

Select Music, then Bluetooth devices, and Add a new Bluetooth device.

Turn on Bluetooth on your device then follow the on screen instructions to confirm the connection.

Select Add this device on your Sky Q box.

The box name will be the type followed by the last four digits of the serial number

Hi @David+Mills This will only allow you to play music via bluetooth from a device to your SKYQ box, and not sound from the SKYQ box to headphones.

Re: Bluetooth and sky Q

This is only to be able to play from a Bluetooth device through your TV. The question asked was the opposite; being able to listen to audio through e.g. Bluetooth earbuds or headphones.
