Layout on SkyQ
Hi, we've just moved from Sky HD to Sky Q. Menu layout is horrible. You can only see a few thrmbnails at any one time. The recordings section is the worst, nothing in list view unless you do A-Z and then there's big gaps...so much harder to see what you've got, or to browse or search for new things. Can't say I'm a fan...

Re: Layout on SkyQ
A few customers who have upgraded from Sky+ have found the layout difficult to get used to but after all this time there's unlikely to be any major changes now.

hi @custardpie0
you are echoing what many ex SKY HD users find.
I think the SKY Q UI is designed from quite a different perspective - & much more geared to those more used to the Phone & Tablet UIs.
I think you have highlighted one of the biggest changes that some notice which is the amount of data on any given screen - the old SKY +/HD tabular / textual format allowed much more on any given screen
The advantages of the thumbnails etc. is that you do you get previews etc - although I admit I don't feel I need them
Unfortunately I can't see the SKY Q UI changing much in the future - even it does it will never revert to on similar to the old SKY HD boxes

Re: Layout on SkyQ
Thanks. Shame they don't allow us the flexibility to change the view! Like you, i don't need the thumbnails. Thanks
