Blank screen with audio

Hi,

 

 

 I recently got a new Sky Q Box. Randomly my TV will turn blank with sound in the background. I have tried a new HDMI cable and reset the sky box. When ever I switch the TV off and then turn it back on, its the same issue. It seems that the new Sky box is bugging with the TV. Can anyone help?

Hi @VK_Sky 

When you say

When ever I switch the TV off and then turn it back on.......
are you referring to your Television set or your Q box?

 

Also

Have you checked that you are on the latest Q software?


However bear if mind that when you select Setup (in Setting - System info - Software version) the message received will always be update this box with the latest software even if the box is already on the latest version.
Updating when already on the latest version achieves nothing and the box software is not refreshed.

Ok @VK_Sky 

When you say switch the Q box on assume this is from Standby and you are not switching it off  at the main switch?

You said TV though - if you really did mean Q box, sounds like the video signal isn't syncing properly when the box wakes up.

 

what TV is it and are you going via a soundbar or amp?
