Auto Power off

For the last month or so, about 2 or 3 times a day, a message appears on our TV "Auto Power Off".

There is then a count down on the clock unless you close it.  This has never happened before.  Because my wife is disabled, our TV is on for a long time, from about 8am to 11pm.  HOwever this is a new item, not recieved before this series of messages.

I suspect that's a message from the operating system of the television rather than a Sky box.

If so, you'd need to use the television remote (not a paired Sky remote) to investigate the TV settings.

Yes, it's almost certainly the TV and not the Sky box.

Check options in the TV for power saving etc.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own
