Sky Q and Network Switch

I cannot get my Sky Q box or Mini box to connect via a Network Switch, if I go directly from the Sky router they both work, my PC works via the Network Switch.  Any suggestions? I will also need to keep my WiFi for other additional boxes.

Is your Network Switch unmanaged or managed ?

SKY Q is known to, often,  not play nicely with managed switches

Are you connecting both Main & Mini to the switch, if not how are they connected ? 

Just out of interest - although it shouldn;t make a difference when connecting everything via ethernet - who is your Router with  ?  SKY or a 3rd party ?

is wifi disabled on the box?
