Apps disappeared from mini boxes

Had to reboot the system today and all is reconnected fine - SKY Q main box and 2 mini boxes for multi room.  However, on the min boxes there is now nothing showing on the Apps menu. This includes Netflix which we are paying for, ITV X etc.  Have tried the Settings/001/refresh apps process. Left it for over 5 minutes as suggested before returning to watch tv. Just checked (2 hrs later) and there's no progress showing. I read somewhere it could take up to 24 hours for the apps to refresh - is this right? Should I be seeing any progress on the refresh process or do I just wait for 24 hours?

@Stellag The booster connects to the main SKYQ box, through their own wifi mesh.
