Hello,
I have noticed since 18/12/23 that we can not use Apple TV through the SKY Q app. We have been in touch with SKY and have tried refreshing, rebooting etc....... All other APPS are working fine. The remote control does not work on this screen.

We have exactly the same issue and the screen looks the same. Apple TV app works on mobile device so the account seems fine. Its hard to find info on how to fix this - I wonder if it something to do with the fact its a free offer atm.

No. unfortunately not. Through SKY we have tried everything. I think its an issue with Apple via SKY. The more comments we can get about the issue will inform SKY that there is a wider issue. Currently, they dont think its an issue.

Yes I am having the same issue. Turn it off by the plug. Waited. Then on again.
Reset the apps
reset the box.
Same issue. Just freezes on that screen

I have found a way round it!
if you can find a program on the home screen which is on Apple TV, click on it and it works. Then you can press the back button and it takes you into the menus perfectly fine!

I have found this work around only works if you have an Apple Program on the Home screen. I couldn't. get Apple TV to work yesterday, so still an issue.

Yes, you need an Apple TV prog on your home screen - took me ages to find one, which as I watch quite a few Apple TV progs was annoying. Finally found one and it did work but this is not ideal. Sky need to sort this!

We're having the same issue, just logged into the app to watch Slow Horses which we've been saving to watch over Christmas
Tried the work around using the Home Screen which was fine but then we came off the app to do something else and now there's no Apple TV programs showing on the Home Screen so can't get back in
This is ridiculous when we're paying for something which we originally got via Sky and now can't use it
Sky needs to sort it asap as we're all wasting money on something that's pretty useless.

I have sent a Tweet with a link to this discussion. SKY need to be aware its an issue so they resolve ASAP. The more that comment the stronger our case will be........

Exactly the same issue for me. The work around has worked, but SKY need to sort it. It's defiantly an issue with them as I can access my Apple TV from other device I have - just not the Sky Q box. Come on Sky, get it fixed......

Same issue here. Works on smart TV, iPad, iPhone so nothing wrong with my apple acount. Restarted sky q box and worked for an hour, now won't work. I'm paying Apple for this not Sky but expect it to work via Sky Q as it is one of the options, Netflix, Paramount +, Disney+ ITV X, 4 all working as expected. Sky need to sort this out asap.

@Pete+mcr I've been using the work around someone on this thread mentioned, finding an Apple TV+ program on the Home Screen, getting onto the platform that way, pressing the back button till you then get to the Apple Home Screen and then choosing what I want to watch. Not ideal but at least we got to watch the shows we wanted to.
It still needs to be resolved though as why should we have to jump through hoops to use it.
