All day I have had problems watching some channels. Apparently there is a satellite signal problem. But, I can watch some channels and the signal has a tick next to it in my settings.

If you are getting a message at the top of the screen indicating no satellite signal it's sometimes caused by heavy rain like during yesterday's thunderstorms. If it's still happening your dish might be slightly out of alignment which will need an engineer visit to check and rectify.

@Murrayhelen as we are in May another thing to check is if there is any tree growth close to your dish or causing a problem with the line of sight of your dish and the satelitte

There are no trees. 

I did think it could be because of the weather. It's quite stormy. I have ITV back for now. But a few sky channels don't work.

@Murrayhelen  Have you checked that the cable connectors from the dish haven't come lose at the back of the Sky Q box?

I have. I have checked all of the cables, I have rebooted it, I have checked the network connection and it says that everything is good. I now have ITV1 but some channels are stillissing like sky witness. Sometimes it says that there are no broadcasts for this channel at this time. I will call sky when I get in from work.

There are no new trees. I will call them today. See if they can help.

Yep. I have checked all of the cables. I will check on when I get in from work. If some channels still don't work, then I will call am engineer.

@Murrayhelen  it's sounds like you dish may have slightly moved
