To be honest I have no idea.
I have updated the software manually via the settings numerous times. Every morning when I turn it on I have problems, either it's trying to do an update or trying to install software which won't work. Then it starts having problems connecting to the WiFi etc.
The box is over 7 years old now and I'm thinking that could be the problem but I'm not happy to pay for one

Software updates are automatic and happen a couple of times a year. The last one (Q210) was added about November 2022. If your box needs replacing due to a fault you don't have to pay for one. They are only loaned to you and are replaced foc if faulty.
