Unfortunately, last weekend my phone and wallet were stolen abroad. And Sky are notoriiusly difficult to get hold of. I have purchased a new handset and spoke to sky first thing upon my return to the UK Wednesday morning. My apple account is locked, and I cannot unlock it without access to the mobile number registered to me. Sky have warned me it could take up to 6 BUSINESS DAYS for a new SIM to arrive, and the operator had the cheek to try and sell me a new contract at the same time.
Every single password to everything (email, work, banking, social media) gets verified through that phone number and Sky expect me to wait that long?! Why can you not simply go into a Sky mobile store like all the other providers have and simply pick up a new SIM?! It's an absolutely shocking level of customer service I have recieved.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreReplacement SIMs are sent via Royal Mail. Personally, mine have always arrived the next day but that is not always the case.
