About a month ago my street had cable put in upgrading the street to FTTP from FTTC.
The Fibre Broadband checker still said end of 2026 I didn't think too much about it until I saw Openreach connecting my next door neighbour and asked the engineer about it. When they checked *my* address she said it was also showing as available.
I gave Sky a ring to find out what options might be available and was told there's nothing, only Fibre to the cabinet, and on the website only the standard Superfast options showing.
I know Sky use Openreach, they were the first company to have Broadband availble when my house was built 10 years ago and Openreach put in the original cables.
But, EE, Talk Talk and all other companies I've checked all say I can have FTTC now, but I only entered a new contract at the end of November so my only choice is to see if I can upgrade my package with Sky.
