Using phone abroad

Hi

I have a Samsung Galaxy A32 5G (2 -3 years old) :-

(1)Will it work in Asia (e.g Singapore ,Malaysia)? i.e. receive and make calls and texts when in roaming mode? I believe 3G has been phased out completely in next few days

(2)How can I tell if my sky sim (about 4 years old) is 4G/5G ?

Thank you

No reason why it wouldn't work but they are 'rest of world' roaming locations so it's expensive to use.  Check the tariff: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-mobile-tariff-guide

Your SIM will support 4G at least.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Re: Using phone abroad

Thank you

I am confused only because  I remember reading somewhere that Samsung Galaxy A32 5G VoLTE roaming does not work overseas. Is it true ?

My current Sim is in an Apple 4 phone so can only connect into 3g network (sky) but when I insert it into the Samsung I get VoLTE connection which I am assuming means SIM is 4G?
