Update caused phone to lock

Some kind of update last night. Phone says swipe to unlock but wont. My alarm keeps going off as can't turn it off. Nothing works on the screen. If I press either the volume button or the on off one of just snooze the alarm.

@AndreaAnnabel What phone do you have? Am have you tried doing a forced reset?
