Purchased a iphone 14 to replace a iphone 8 (currently on a sim only contract with Sky) given the sim contract is on going I assume the free 100mb was not an option.
Is it pssible to transfer the data from the old to the new using the existing sim card and if so at what stage do I remove the sim to the new iphone 14

The Apple setup/transfer wizard will copy everything across.
You can move the SIM from old to new phones either before of after - personally, I prefer to do it once completed. The SIM only provides cellular connectivity.
I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
