I have put a new Sky sim in my iPad mini 5th generation but the devise refuses to work via mobile data. I have downloaded net work settings twice but no change.
The sim works in other devises and other non Sky sims work in the iPad so somewhere there must be a setting I need to tweak.
Any suggestions gratefully received.

I should have added that the iPad knows the sim is there. It shows it with the signal strength indicator at the top of the screen. It also recognises Sky in the mobile data setttings.
But it fails to find anything and signs say No Internet, or words to that effect

Yes. The APN is shown as mobile.sky

Hi guys,
Service in the area is fine, my iPhone 14 on Sky is working perfectly.
In my case there is no such thing as a daft question but yes Mobile Data is switched on. I also tried switching on roaming.
And I have been right through the Apple step by step guides.
I am starting to think the sim might be faulty.

Thanks for trying to help.
In the end I upgraded at no extra cost to an e-sim and everything worked perfectly.
But as to the original cause of trouble, well that remains a mystery.
