Text messages

I've just checked the service where I live and it's working fine for me. Sent a text to a friend just to check and it has gone through no problems.

Were you able to receive a text back as the issue isn't sending it's receiving texts

Same, my boyfriend is with Vodafone and I'm not receiving his texts, sky are trying to blame apple for the problem when I spoke to them

I thought it was my phone, so orderd a new one sins mines a wee bit damaged, and skys service said no problems at all, guess that wasnt true at all. Ive been getting spammed every hour on the hour by 1 message from any contact that has text me in the last 48hours and only that message, wish they had sent us an email to let us know that their is an issue I just hope its fixed by Monday.

So basically sky isn't telling anyone the same story, so far we've had do t know when it will be fixed, it will be fixed Monday, there is no service issue and now it's your phones problem not sky.  Absolute joke they don't even have the decency to tell any of their customer via email that there is a problem or even put something on their site

I have been unable to receive calls for 2 days, friends and family think I'm ignoring them but it's that I'm not receiving their texts, how much longer is this going to take?

I also have the same problem since Friday 28th June, phone sky Saturday morning and reported the issue. Said it would be escalated to the network people and they would phone me back in the next three days. No phone call as of yet, now Sunday morning.

The last two texts that I have received are being re-sent to me every hour and have been for the last couple of days.
