Swop Advice

I'm looking at shopping my iPhone, had it for 24 months but what happens if they don't offer anyway near what's outstanding?

@lisas

The difference would be added to your next available bill so would be taken via it.

Hi @lisas  if the value offered is less than what's owed then any remaining balance is added to your next bill to be paid in one go.

Re: Swop Advice

thank you, does anyone know if they ever give the value they say they will?  when i did a quote online with sky it said the phone should cover the outstanding balance, but its a bit worrying if it doesnt then you dont know how much you will have to pay, as its a iPhone its around £260 OS, dont know if to risk it or not? would like to hear other peoples experience

There have been reports from some customers of lower valuations but you won know until the company that deals with this for sky assess the phone @lisas. We only hear about the problems here not the ones that go ok. If you do the swap make sure you take photos showing the condition of the phone. I don't use the swap option, I sell my phones to music magpie (others are available) then use that to pay the balance of what's owed. Never had any issues using them.

Re: Swop Advice

thank you, Music Magpie might seem the better option!  I've bought phones from them in the past and always great to deal with.
