Suspended Sky Mobile Service

I was abroad and occasionally used roaming on my sim only Sky Mobile. On my return I found my mobile service suspended. The bill came to £59.80 which was taken in payment from my bank on the 2nd April 2025. However the service have not been restored. I have tried every conceivable option on the web but no joy. I was advised to call Sky!! As my mobile is my only phone (no landline) I am unable to call the Sky Mobile Sevice number.  How do I get my service reinstated??

Hellllooooo! Service restored!! Not sure which of your suggestions did the trick but I am pleased to confirm my mobile is working now!!

@MJV1  Did you also setup a new continuous payment method on your Sky account as this is also required before restrictions are lifted

My Sky account is paid by monthly direct debit. This charge was additional to that.

@MJV1  If restrictions are applied to the original continuum payment method is cancelled and has to be setup again 

 

so check that this has been done

Hi @MJV1  were you advised your services were restricted for non payment or did your phone just not work on returning to the UK ? If the latter and it's an iPhone go to settings, mobile service, sim applications and change the setting in there.

Thank you for the reply. The sim application shows Roaming. I tried to change it to Automatic but it reverts back to Roaming. Is there anything I can/should do?

Do you have "home" as an option, is do try setting it to that as it should be on roaming if you are in the UK.
