Sim Data has reset 4 days ago for a new month but haven’t got any data

So I have 5 sims under my account. Everyone's data resets on 25th of the month. 4 out of the 5 have reset as normal with the exception of my daughters. It's says out of data. She hasn't used 25gb in 4 days as she has had a message everyday since last week saying she is out of data including today. I've tried having the network settings being sent to her phone etc and I've added the sky mobile profile and still isn't working. I've reset her phone (Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max) several times and nothing is working. I've checked her data usage since 25th November and it's states she has used 25GB in 4 days but she is at school and not allowed her phone on at school and she's been using WiFi at home. And she's had daily messages saying she is out of data since it reset! Any ideas??

When was your daughters sim added to your account, was it within the last few weeks ?

Hi

 

No it's been on there for over a year but I've just twigged what the problem is. It looks like she has turned her background app refresh on to update over data. Her TikTok and snapchat had used over 300gb in the refresh over time so I've turned it to WiFi only. She reckons she hasn't touched it but she must have. She's had a phone for 4 years and never used anywhere near her data!

It might have been an update to her phone's software that has done this so going forward it is something for you both to keep an eye on especially after these software updates.
