I have been having this problem for 9 months in various countries. Despite new sims on a number of occasions it is still not resolved. Sometimes never get a connection, other times get Welcome message then a few hours later the connection drops out and never returns. The request for ANP using My Sky on wifi does not work as no texts with the link received. I have gone through all of the help online but nothing works. Currently abroad and neither my phone or my wife's phone is working.
Anyone got any ideas?

So to make matters worse, I've now arrived home to the exact same issue, no calls or data and it says my sim is not allowed to connect to the Sky network. I've been through all the steps yet again and still it doesn't work. Not being contactable abroad was annoying, not being contactable at home affects my livelihood as I can't work without my data connection. So Sky, when are you going to fix this issue or at least provide an update?

I've found a way to fix it without any help from Sky, I found a hidden menu that resolved the issue

For others having similar problems, my husband has just spoken to someone at sky who has advised that there are known connectivity issues with the provider. Apparently there has been an outage and some phones lost connection and couldn't be automatically reconnected
*You need to call them* in order for this to be fixed. They need details of individual accounts affected so they can send a reboot to your phone. It won't happen automatically. Apparently this takes up to 24 hours to come through.
It would have been helpful if a nice if a Sky team member could have hopped on and explained this but hey ho.

I'm having a similar issue I'm in Tenerife. I managed to get mine to work yesterday however it won't reset. Tried turning roaming on and off. Switching to 2g and requesting network settings but no luck

Hi, this issue still does not appear to be fixed. We landed yesterday in Spain, and my partner's mobile in my account refuses to connect. We had one brief period of connectivity last night, and received the text informing of the £2 roaming charge, and now no connection. What a shambles!!

Using the sky menu, change the roaming setting to home and it should then find the network. I don't think it is a 'proper' fix as it still doesn't pick up the network on automatic, but you can at least make/receive calls and use data in the UK this way.
