Also in NYC with the same issue. Not sure how to contact sky. Worked ok Wednesday and the nothing yesterday or so far today (Friday 21st). Working g on WiFi. Have got the texts about roaming passport but nothing working unless on WiFi! 

any advice on how to sort. Going to investigate esims to see if this gets me through but now double paying.

Same issue. In NYC. Phone were working yesterday and today unable to make calls or use data. SKY YOU ARE **bleep**. Always happens when we go abroad.

Honestly I'm disgusted. My teenage children are epi pen carriers and have to go everywhere with us, not that we would be able to call an ambulance anyway. The way we are forced to post in chat forums to get help as calls won't connect, chat is CLOSED  is simply not good enough. When I get home I'm cancelling the whole sky package.

I'm posting again because this is now day 2 of not having no signal or data on 3 sims but still been charged and still receiving messages off sky confirming my international data/call package. 

I will.be ringing sky (When I can) for.a full refund.

Come on Sky get your act together!!!! 2 days now in USA with no coverage but you've still got the audacity to charge £2 per day 

so many people rely on this service for maps, routes etc, it's really not good enough 🤬

It's not good enough, you soon restrict our service if we don't pay on time. We need data in NY. I hope the charges will be refunded and the inconvenience too!

Hi @Lisa48  you can ask when you return about compensation but don't hold your breath as it's in the T&C's that they can't guarantee a signal when roaming.

We are having the same problems in Florida  😣  Was only one phone that's been affected for a week, but now it's both our mobiles. We were told this morning by Sky support to phone people on WhatsApp - not helpful when we are not on WiFi and the numbers we need to call are not on WhatsApp.

Mobile data not working abroad

I've come to the USA from England. When arriving I recieved a text saying welcome to the USA. My safety buffer is at £50/month. I have tried downloading the 'handset configuration' and it is showing that I have 5G but It is not working. Any tips as I have received the message saying my passport roaming plus has started but am unable to use it? Thanks.

There have been issue with roaming in a few countries abroad for the last 24 hours and the USA s one of them. Via here we are starting to see a few posts from others in other countries that are saying it is starting to work but I haven't seen a post from anyone in America yet so you can be safe that it isn't just you. Sky are aware as their relevant teams are investigating.
