I am at the end of a 2 week battle and I am about to loose it. I switched to Sky after it was introduced in ROI- free roaming in Europe and UK- what's not to like? Well it's not working- that's the problem. I travel for work and as soon as I cross any border- my phone does nothing. UK? Doesn't work, Austria- no luck. Currently in Finland and I have just about had it- the online help is of no help at all when one has zero signal.
On the WiFi in the hotel on to Sky- was given about 7 different instructions- 1. turn phone off and on again, 2. Switch data off and on again, 3. Change API to 4g.tele2.se, 4. Roaming definitely on?, 5. Request network set up (which I have been unable to locate in my sky), 6. Reset network, 7. Switch network provider to any and then back to automatic- and absolutely nothing works - this is the single most ridiculous thing ever. The moment I switched to Sky I regretted it- simple porting had to be installed (iPhone user)- never have I ever experienced anything like it. I am at the end of my tether here. My partner is also with Sky and he was in to Sky also who told him to remove the tiny SIM- clean it and install it again- what on earth is going on? Neither one of us had any luck with any instruction.

I've had the exact same experience. Though I did get the Sky network settings but that helps nothing.
I traveled to Finland, went through all the steps with support. Had to get a local prepaid. The same setting then did work in Latvia - I did nothing different. Now my wife is in London and has the same thing happening to her.
Nothing but trouble with Sky Mobile Ireland. The product is not as advertised at all. Even in Ireland the network randomly just drops and you have to turn airplane mode on and off to get it back.

I got nowhere with Sky unfortunately the service was just not working to me. Switched back to my previous provider and within minutes of porting back everything worked again without a problem.
Sky was trying to help me sort out the problem but ended up blaming my iPhone at which point I called it quits and left the network again.
i think it was a great idea but the execution is lacking everything and even at that low price- I need my phone to work - so I am happily paying more. It was just not worth the hassle.

On a iPhone
Sim Applications-->Roaming--> make sure the arrow as below is on:
>Automatic
Sim Kit on Android?

It's iPhones. But yes, yes tried all the tricks with support many times, none of it works. They had no solution either.

I'm roaming fine. Make sure 'data roamingn' is switched on it's above Sim Applications.
Switch "5G on" & VoLTE also on, some networks won't allow 4G now just Long Term Evolution/VoLTE, especially for roaming customers.
Change APN to mobile.sky
Then you ensure in Sim Applications you have > these both selected:
>Automatic
Sky Settings
>Partner Settings
>Sky Settings with either Auto or Partner selected I lose signal.
The roaming is provided via Tele2 Sweden so you have a > on both to be active.
Then switch the line off and back on. If that doesn't work leave the line on and reboot.
Tele2 roaming profile it's not a great sim (applications) kit, it's confusing. Most people will select Automatic &/or Sky, that doesn't work, Auto & Partner (Tele2) do work.
Hopefully that will help.
