I cancelled my order for the 512gb laptop about a week ago and ordered the 256gb one, got it last saturday but i just got an email saying that my 'order will soon be on its way'?? I'm so confused, they're now delivering my old order despite the fact I cancelled it? On the live chat now but I'm a bit worried now lol

I have just received an email to say that my order is also on its way...4 weeks. 

 

You can just refuse delivery, it should be fine.

i was just talking to their online chat and it was like going round and round! One second it was 'This is fine, you can accept it and start paying' then it was 'Oh your order is already in the pre-cancellation of the agreement' and then it was 'but you can still accept the delivery and give us a call' and then again we went to 'but its in pre-cancellation'! they're bloody useless!!!!

I want to accept it because it's my original order but it's just such a hassle, I can't be bothered!!

Two Orders, no updates. Very Frustrated

I ordered a Galaxy S25 Ultra (with free Galaxy Watch) on 9th October and a MacBook Air 13" on 15th October. Both for uni. Both in stock with the promise of next day delivery. Nothing. Order page just says 'delivery coming soon'. Well, they obviously aren't, are they!?! Went through the chat process only to be given generic answers, the last saying that both orders have been sent to the fulfilment centre but they can't update me. Be patient they said. Hmmmmmm. Very, very poor customer service as they've taken both up front payments, sailed through the credit check and now I'm left in limbo.

Welcome to the waiting room unfortunately. 

I ordered the MacBook Air 13" 512mb on the 29th September and basically heard nothing back until after my 2 weeks when I contacted them via live chat. I was told they didn't have stock and that I could cancel the order and order the same model and colour but in 256mb, which I did. Ordered that, cancelled the 512mb MacBook Air and got the 256mb 2 days after ordering it. 

Last night I got a message from Sky and DPD saying that my MacBook Air 13" 512mb was on its way, so I contacted them again and was basically told it's DPD's fault which makes NO sense because surely Sky has to hand the laptop to them, then DPD delivers it... 

 

so now I have to refuse the DPD order today because I was told I can accept the 512mb laptop and send my 256mb one back but if I do, I have to call up Sky and get my contract for the 512mb laptop back and it's just... far too much hassle than it's worth. This has been so f'ing pointless and it's frustrating because Sky is the only company that will accept my credit (I don't have any).

 

it's such a different experience than my phone too which I ordered last year, no problems and got it literally the next day!

@TheRizzard  its a nightmare they told me could swap but have to cancel and reorder but i wasnt doing that and risking the credit not going threw so says on my account should be today for delivery after 3 weeks but when i spoke on the chat he said monday or tuesday sk god knows whrn it will show up

Yeah they told me the same thing so I just did it because I was fed up, you have to pay the deposit for the new order as well but they use the however much deposit you already paid as a discount on your bill which is ridiculous

Oh that's good!!! Hopefully you get out of the waiting room today! 

My original order (cancelled but apparently not?) is due to be delivered from 3-4pm today so now I get the anxiety of refusing the delivery!! Fun!! Thanks Sky!!!

The pain is over...4 weeks to the day and I am typing this on my shiny new MacBook. 

 

Love the machine, hate Sky. I hope I never, ever have to deal with customer service ever again.
