Ordered MacBook Air 2025 and it’s been 2 weeks

I've been keeping tabs on this thread for the past couple of weeks, I share all your frustrations! 

I ordered my MacBook on 28 September and waited until the 2 week delivery time had passed before I called, to be assured that it would be dispatched on Saturday.

Saturday came and went, so called them yesterday to see what was happening. Again, was told that the stock was on back order, apologised and said it would be dispatched within a week. I asked who I could formally complain to. 

The complaint was emailed yesterday - I noted that they aim to respond within 24 hours. Of course they haven't. I really don't know how they remain in business with such poor customer service.

same as me they just say 1-2 weeks delay i ordered 3rd october one says they have stock and will be delivered one says back ordered and then another said its the dpd strikes iv told them they have till the end of the month or im involving trading standards if they cant furfill my order they should be offering an alternative not just making excuses up i get the mac books are out of stock as they are on currys and ee aswell but its a joke quick to take the 174 upfront cost which if refunded will take ages to get back

I ordered the MacBook Air M4 13 Inch, 512GB, Midnight Black. 

I had to wait longer than the specified 2 week delivery. 
I had to also contact Sky on several occasions and had to put my argument across about how I felt.

At one point I was offered different colours and specs etc, which I refused.
In the end I made a complaint and threatened to contact UK Trading Standards.

It was at this point I received an email to say it was dispatched anxiety received it today.

I emailed a complaint today and spoke on chat and told them the same also said il cancel my sky contract they offerd me money off my broadband told them no necause then i cant leave 🤣

Spoke to sky regarding computer and said that I will be contacting trading Standerds so will see what happens now

@Melissa0912  i said the same she said would be here by friday i told her been told this a number of time highly dount it will be here in time for xmas she offerd me the macbook air in starlight but of course had to cancel and re order aparently that ones in stock now

On the website, all 13" 256gb models are now showing as being in stock, and all at 512gb except the Midnight Black and Sky Blue, so hopefully there will be some movement now. 

I ordered the 256gb midnight black so the saga continues...
