Re: Macbook not arriving
@AmyM3
As we’re customers we have no insight into current stock levels or any delivery timescales. The most up to date information (after credit checks are complete) on your particular order should become available at:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/track-sky-order
When your order is ready you should get an email from Sky, and then another from the courier (in the UK that’s usually DPD) which should have details of your 1 hour delivery time slot.
You perhaps need to call Sky to see if they have any further information.

Re: False advertising from Sky - Appalling customer Service.
I ordered mine on the 22nd September woth a £200 upfront cost and received an email confirming it will arrive 21st September....??? Must be a error. Still waiting. Tried to cancel and order a smaller screen bit I was told he didn't want to cancel my order just incase i wouldn't be excepted for a new order...need this for uni and wished we was told when ordering it. Not a happy sky customer.

Re: Ordered MacBook Air 2025 and it’s been 2 weeks
I have also ordered a 15 MacBook Air 512GB for a uni course.
It's only been 8 days so still within the 1-2week mark, but started looking as it is odd. Apple have these in stock, as well as other retailers. Tracking hasn't changed, still states "coming soon" but the sim is ready to go
The upfront cost was supposed to be something like £31, yet after the credit check this increased to £170 for some reason. Very misleading. I would (and should) have stopped at that point, but the credit check had been carried out at that point and taking it out elsewhere would have caused another hard search.
The low upfront cost was certainly a factor in me choosing Sky over buying it through other methods, so a little peeved that I could have gone elsewhere, had next day delivery and wouldn't have been any less off and would have had the device.
Just hope the OP has received their device or I'm in for a long wait.

Re: Ordered MacBook Air 2025 and it’s been 2 weeks
This whole thread has been super useful (and irritating, not the people in it but the poor communication from Sky).
I only paid £26 upfront I believe, something around that, and it said delivery within 1-2 weeks, a few days ago it went to the same status with the sim (which is weird we have to get a sim with the laptop???).
i was really hoping this whole thing wouldn't be the case as I've been really looking forward to having a laptop for the first time in years but seeing that they allowed us to order it even when it's on back order is insane!!
hoping that there's an update soon for everyone here, I'm a few days away from being out of the 1-2 weeks delivery time so... my iPhone when I ordered it literally came next day as well but it's disappointing this has happened with the MacBooks seeing as they came out in March

Re: Ordered MacBook Air 2025 and it’s been 2 weeks
I ordered a 512gb space grey 15" air on Sunday. I really wish I had read these comments first. Mine said 1-2 week delivery but I'm guessing I'll be waiting a lot longer. This is not an apple issue as you can order the same laptop and get it delivered within a few days. I don't get why they would not of put it as out of stock like the iPads and other model macs if they knew they don't have them coming in.
I will be cancelling my order if they don't fulfil the 2 week delivery window! Let us know if you get yours op.

If you've ordered and not had an update contact sky at the below X link. If everyone does this and we start shouting they will have to do something

They can't refuse you to cancel an order they can't fulfil it. It's against the law! If I don't receive mine within a maximum of 3 weeks it will be cancelled. Don't let me kid you.

Re: Ordered MacBook Air 2025 and it’s been 2 weeks
Think I paid £300 up front, ordered on the 23/09 where the site erroneously stated the model was in stock. Have had no direct communication from Sky to indicate it wasn't in stock or when to roughly expect it.
Its certainly very frustrating and I doubt i'll buy another device from Sky, which is a shame as i've had pretty decent service up until now. Also appreciate these things can happen but I would not think a rough estimate of delivery would be out of the scope of possibility, even if its a '3 week+' kind of message.
