O2 Sim Card in Sky Mobile

Hi... I have ordered the new iPhone, but want to use my current o2 SIM card as I get unlimited texts, calls, data etc and have a few months left on it. I've ordered the 100MB free sim with the phone - do I have to activate this when it arrives or can I put my o2 sim in the phone? I don't want the sky sim... thanks in advance!

You have 31 days to activate it - otherwise it just cancels.
