I have recently changed from EE to Sky and since then have been unable to receive OTP from apps such as Santander and Microsoft authenticator. Have tried all the other suggested troubleshooting problems from other forums but have not worked. Ideally need this sorted ASAP as needed for university.

You're talking to other customers here. You'll need to call Sky on 150 to get them to investigate the issue.
