My new phone
I have just been charged for my iPhone 15 pro which I have swopped for a iPhone 16 pro so I have been charged for both despite sending the 15 back

Any device returned has to be inspected by the company that handles the return so during this period billing does continue as normal but once the inspection has taken place and if nothing more is due to be paid against the device then the billing should cease and possibly you will see a credit for any overpayment or a one off additional to your bill if there is still any outstanding amount against it.
