I'm an existing Sky Mobile customer and I'm excited to set up my new iPhone 16 Pro.
I want to keep my existing number. Is it a case of taking old sim card out of current iPhone 11 Pro phone and putting it in new 16 Pro? Just confused because they sent new sim card too.
Also to move apps and everything across, from old to new phone, do I just place the phones next to each other?
Does this happen after I put old sim in new phone?
Apologies for the basic question!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHi @LibrarianGirl yes you can just put your old sim in your new phone , that will keep the same number and data plan. If you have received a new sim then don't activate it as that will come with a new number and you will be paying for two plans. Once you start setting up the new phone it will guide you on how to transfer things from the old phone to the new one and that can involve putting the phones close together as part of that process.

As for transferring apps etc the phone should ask whether you wish to set up as new, restore from iCloud or transfer from the old iPhone. I chose to transfer.

@LibrarianGirl @Hey. Could I ask what time did you order your 16 pro? and what colour or storage? There's some of us waiting for 3 weeks now with no answers it would help us a lot to gauge how they're dispatching
