How do I claim my 40% discount that I keep having sky call me about or are they scammers If there scammers this I'm going to have to change network as this is ridiculous

@Daniel557  It's a scam that's going around , they are pretending to be sky trying to get you to give out personal information 

changing networks may not make a difference

It's ironic as Sky don't seem to offer such large discounts any more - perhaps why people are falling for it...

But if you want a cheaper deal then initiate a call yourself to the official Sky number and negotiate (or remove packages or cancel if not in contract).

No fair I only got offered 30% with 5g all I had to do was give them my email. I hung up and blocked it there's no way that's real. Not only cos I'm not in a 5g area but nothing goes down in price these days

As others have stated it's a scam intended to convince the customer to hand over account details where they'll then order expensive devices. Once these are delivered the customer would receive another call saying a mistake had been made & to send the devices back to a specific address or that a courier will collect them. Neither would result in the devices returning to Sky & the customer may then be liable for the cost.

They'll say anything.  Even when you confront them as 'scammers' they'll deny it...
