Help

I am going on a city break for a few days and wondered how I will use my data in Europe? Is this something that automatically activates when I land in my destination country or is there something I need to do to activate my data abroad?

Thank you.

In  almost all European countries it costs £2 for 24 hours use of your device. This gives you free calls to Uk landlines and mobiles and free text messages so the same as if you are n the UK. Data useage is restricted to 25GB.

Depending on where you're going it should cost you £2 for each 24 hours use of your home allowance. Check using the link below.

You need to ensure roaming and mobile data are turned on in your phone settings and it will kick in when you send a text, make a call or use a small amount of data. Set any spend cap to cover the total number of days you are there. Remember that calls to local numbers are charged extra at international rates and there is now a limit on data use of 25GB per billing period, after which Sky can charge you an extra £2.50 per GB or even suspend your useage duel to overuse.

Note that £2 roaming applies to the EU/EEA.

Some 'European' destinations are therefore not covered.
