Set up e sim on old phone before new phone arrives
Hello everyone
im waiting for my iPhone air to arrive and wondering if I should set up my iPhone 12 mini to the e sim now then it might be easier to transfer when my phone gets here.

You have plenty of time to get it activated so it might be worth waiting until your iPhone turns up which could be within the next 7 days based on the "order complete" status that is showing on your account.

It just says order complete will arrive soon so it's even been sent yet. The e sim is in my orders to be activated so I thought maybe I could set it up on my old phone, iPhone 12 mini if it's compatible and be ready when the new phone arrives,
If it says order complete it might be on it';s way to DPD who in turn should contact you when they have it with a one hour delivery slot for the delivery.
When did you order the esim as you have 31 days to get it activated ?
